This year’s event again features a Celebration Reception at 6 pm on the evening of the 24th. The Reception includes a fabulous buffet, cocktails, and absolutely amazing live and silent auctions. Among the items auctioned in previous year include a Peyton Manning autographed Super Bowl XLI helmet, a 7 day western Caribbean cruise, guitars autographed by Ted Nugent, Alice Cooper and John Mellencamp, tickets to IU, Purdue, Notre Dame and Ohio State football, a 40” flat panel HDTV and far too much to mention here. (See attachment (Eric is there a better term for this?) partial listing of this year’s auction items) At 8 am on the 25th, dozens of teams of golfers will tee up an 18 hole Florida scramble on the beautiful Pine Valley course. Last years’ winning team of Guy Dupuis, Jon Lassus, Dick Daring and Kirk Ruille shot a 15 under par 57 to win by one stroke. The Pine Valley course is a great lay out and is always meticulously maintained. There will be continental breakfast, complementary beverages, lunch, prizes and every participant will receive a terrific “goodie bag”. Mark the dates on your calendar and plan on attending to help support what is rapidly becoming one of the largest adoption fund raisers in Indiana and the Wendy’s system as well |
